WELCOME AT THE FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE (INCOMINGS)

Dear international students, welcome at the faculty of Social Science! In order to be able to offer international students a number of classes in English we are cooperating with the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Duisburg-Essen. Students can choose classes from any university that is part of the University Alliance Metropolis Ruhr (UAMR). This is made possible partly through our excellent public transport system. Both universities are also part of the "Ruhrgebiet". In only a few decades the region has transformed itself from being Germany's most important industrial production site for coal and steel into a service and culture-oriented metropolis. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. International students who wish to pursue a full degree in Bochum should contact admission@uv.rub.de.
