Bachelor course
The Faculty of Social Science has optimised its offer since the summer term of 2007 and is offering new attractive courses.
Bachelor course one-subject-model:
The new one-subject model Bachelor "Social Science" has replaced the old diploma course. The modules of this Bachelor go from Sociology, Political Science, Economy, Social Psychology, Social Anthropology and Methodology and bring these disciplines together in the development phase.
Bachelor course two-subject-model
The Social Science offers in the two-subject-model have also been re-organised under interdisciplinary aspects. Beside the established subject Policy, Economy and Society (PWG) there is a new interdisciplinary subject Culture, Individual and Society (KIG):

Master course Social Science
You can choose between six different programmes in the one-subject-model and so specialise in a leading theme.
Following programmes are offered at the Faculty of Social Science:
- Management and Regulation of Labour, Economy and Organisation(MaRAWO)
- Health Systems and Health Industry (GsG)
- City and Regional Development (StReg)
- Globalisation, Transnationalisation and Governance (GTG)
- Culture and Person
- Methods of Social Research
Social Science programmes in the two-subject-model
Five subjects are offered in the two-subject-model. You choose one subject of an other faculty and one of the five subjects offered by the Faculty of Social Science.

Application for a Bachelor's degree
Due to limited admission, students who intend to start a Bachelor's degree in the winter term of 2013/2014 must apply by 15.07.2013.
